This tutorial is done in Photoshop.

1. Crop your image to 100 x 100
2. Duplicate your base image and set the duplicate to screen. Change the opacity of the layer to 60%
3. On the duplicated layer, Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen.
4. Layer > New Fill Layer. Fill it with color #560000. Set it to Exclusion with an opacity of 50%
5. Layer > New Fill Layer. Fill it with color #000722. Set it to Exclusion with an opacity of 50%
6. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color. Make sure the method is Relative. Put in these settings:
REDS:
Cyan = -100
Magenta = +21
Yellow = +34
Black = +27

YELLOWS:
Cyan = -41
Magenta = +26
Yellow = -6
Black = 29

WHITES:
Cyan = +9
Magenta = -26
Yellow = -41
Black = +9

NEUTRALS:
Cyan = +4
Magenta = +2
Yellow = +6
Black = +3

Blacks:
Cyan = 0
Magenta = 0
Yellow = 0
Black= +89

7. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Channel Mixer
RED:
Red = +124
Green = -22
Blue = 0
